To ensure their families are self-reliant and able to withstand future setbacks, they need assistance to build sustainable livelihoods.

CCT opened its doors in 2007 to help Sinet Chan and 13 other children escape from a corrupt and abusive orphanage in Battambang, Cambodia.
Sinet was recently invited to speak about children’s rights at the United Nations Day of General Discussion.
“We were working like slaves. When I was younger, I just thought of these activities as a means of survival, but now I realise it was a form of child trafficking and exploitation,” said Sinet.
