From SKO Orphanage to reunited with family – Channy’s Story
“Between being at the orphanage and being with my family, I feel warmer at home with my family… at home my family take good care of me.”
Channy was just 7 when she was entrusted to the care of SKO Orphanage – the same corrupt and abusive orphanage that CCT helped 14 children to escape from in 2007.
In early 2020, SKO finally closed its doors, once and for all. CCT has been working to safely reunite the remaining children with their families and ensure the family has the support they need to thrive.
In this video, Channy talks with CCT ambassador Sinet Chan about their shared experiences growing up in SKO Orphanage.
