Sopheab lost his leg after stepping on a landmine while fighting in the war against the Khmer Rouge.
As a person living with a disability in Cambodia, it has been difficult for Sopheab to find work and pay for his children’s education. “It was really tough. I only had a few handfuls of rice to make breakfast and dinner. I would cry alone, but I never let my family see,” said Sopheab.
But everything changed after meeting CCT a couple of years ago. Today, Sopheab says his life is 80% to 90% different than before.
